Aluminum and aluminum alloy welding wires are selected based on conditions such as the type of base material, mechanical properties of the joint, and corrosion resistance requirements. For heat treated reinforced aluminum alloys with a high tendency for welding hot cracks, welding wires with good crack resistance should be selected.


Common welding wires:


SKD11>0.5-3.2mm HRC 56-58 welding repair cold working steel, hardware stamping dies, cutting dies, cutting tools, forming dies, and workpiece hard surface production are made with high hardness, wear resistance, and high toughness argon welding rods. Before welding repair, heat up and preheat to avoid cracking.


63 degree blade edge welding wire>0.5-3.2mm HRC 63-55, mainly used for welding and drawing tool molds, hot work high hardness tool molds, hot forging general molds, hot stamping molds, screw molds, wear-resistant hard surfaces, high-speed steel, and blade repair.


SKD61>0.5-3.2mm HRC 40-43 welding zinc, aluminum die casting mold, with good heat resistance and crack resistance, hot air punching mold, aluminum copper hot forging mold, aluminum copper die casting mold, with good heat resistance, wear resistance, and crack resistance. Generally, hot die casting molds often have turtle shell cracks, most of which are caused by thermal stress, as well as surface oxidation or corrosion of die casting materials. Heat treatment is adjusted to an appropriate hardness to improve its lifespan, but it is not suitable if the hardness is too low or too high.


Characteristics and applications of welding wire with a diameter of 70N>0.1-4.0mm: for the bonding of high hardness steel, cracking of zinc aluminum die-casting molds, welding reconstruction, and welding repair of pig iron/cast iron. It can directly weld various cast iron/pig iron materials, and can also be used for welding mold cracks. When using cast iron welding, try to lower the current as much as possible, use short distance arc welding, partially preheat the steel, heat and slowly cool after welding.
